Many of the photographs were shot using medium format cameras: a Pentax 6x7cm camera and a Linhof 6x12cm camera (for panoramics). However, in 2003 I gave up film and now shoot with Canon digital cameras - one for color, and another modified for infrared. The photographs in the Las Vegas Portfolio, and many of those in the Washington & Oregon Portfolio and the South Carolina Portfolio were made in infrared. Whether the image originates digitally or on film, the process after shooting is entirely digital, using Photoshop and an HP Z3100 inkjet printer. All images are printed on either 100% cotton rag paper or alpha cellulose paper with high stability pigment inks. The prints are matted with Artcare Alpharag Bright White 4-ply 100% cotton rag board, with a 4" border all around. They are signed and numbered on the front of the print. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity stating the name of the photograph, print size, edition number, and information about the ink and paper used.
